My QSL card has been designed and printing is ordered
As always reliable CoolQSL service helped me to design QSL card and took my order for that. So, as soon as the cards are printed I will start to answer all QSL requests. Please find below the QSL preview. The picture on front of the card has been taken on Managaha Island, beautiful island close to the Saipan coast. The land seen in the background is just Saipan Is.
KH0/SP5APW activity is over
Since a couple of years my holidays are driven by few factors: the destination has to be on island (IOTA activity), subtropical climate, not crowded and loud place, nice beach and ocean.
The most recent autumn vacation I spent travelling through five Florida's island. I needed to collect more points to get my IOTA Marathon Activators award...
On all earlier trips I travelled with my own rig, portable antenna etc. Air luggage weight restrictions made it difficult as well as my signal wasn't strong due to low power and simple antenna. So, for next trip I decided to find a destination where I can rent a shack and enjoy pile-up instead of lugging suitcases.
The choice fell on Saipan Rental Shack...
